अब अमेरिकामा दशैँ डे ! #dashainday

मेरिल्याण्ड राज्य संसदको ४४६ औ सेसनले हाउस विल ०९६७ ले दशैं दिन अर्थात " दशैं डे " "Dashain Day" को मान्यता पाएको छ । मेरिल्याण्ड राज्यका गर्भनर वेज मोर द्वारा मेरिल्याण्ड राज्य ऐनापोलिस स्थित गर्भनरको कार्यालय बाट उक्त विघेयकमा हस्ताक्षर गर्नु भएको हो ।कुनै एउटा दिन छनौट गर्नुपर्ने भएको कारणले अक्टोबर ५ लाई दशैं दिनको रुपमा मनाउन छनौट गरिएको जानकारी हो । यस विघेयक हस्ताक्षर समारोहमा डेलिगेट भण्डारी लगायत मेरिल्याण्ड राज्यमा बसोबास गर्ने गैर आवासीय संघ, अमेरिकाका प्रतिनिधिहरू, बुद्धिजीवी वर्ग, समाजिक अभियन्ता, पत्रकार लगायत स्थानीय संघ संस्थाका प्रतिनिधिहरुको बाक्लो उपस्थिति रहेको थियो ।

यो विलमा दशैं नेपालमा उत्पत्ति भएको र यसलाई दक्षिण एशियाली देशहरुका केही भागमा मा र विश्व भरि छरिएर रहेका दक्षिण एशियाली मूलका व्यक्तित्वहरुले मनाउँछन् । साथै घटस्थापना देखि कोजाग्रत पूर्णिमा सम्म १५ दिन सम्म यो चाड मनाईने उल्लेख गरिएको छ । यो चाडले विश्व भातृत्वलाई अपनत्व गर्दे संस्कृत शब्द " वसुधैव कुटुम्बकम "को भावनालाई आत्मसात गर्दछ । यो साँस्कृतिक महत्व वोकेको चाड हो ।

खासमा महान चाड वडा दशैले शरद ऋतुको मनोरम र आकर्षक मौसमलाई सम्बोधन गरेको हुन्छ । यसै सिलसिलामा एउटा दिन तोक्न पर्ने भएको कारणले अक्टोवर ५ लाई तोकेर विधयेक प्रस्तुत गरिएको हो । यसलाई कालान्तरमा अरु विधयेक जस्तै परिवर्तन गर्न सक्ने व्यवस्था छ ।

Population Fund's (UNFPA) . China's population will stand at 1.4257 billion this summer.

India's population is expected to continue growing for the next three decades as China's decreases, widening the gap between the two most populous nations. The U.N.'s World Population Prospects report, released in July last year, projected that India's population will peak in 2050 at 1.668 billion, far exceeding China's, which the report said would likely sit around 1.3 billion in that year.

In 1950, India was home to some 861 million people, while China had a population of 1.144 billion, highlighting how rapidly India has grown over the last seven decades.
